Parker Homestead
Parker Homestead is a recreated 19th century town located 6 miles South of Harrisburg AR. A vast collection of buildings and artifacts from times past, the Homestead brings history to life every year in the fall.
Owned and operated by four generations of Parkers, the Homestead has evolved from an interest in local history and a desire to preserve it for the enjoyment of others.
There are so many things to see and do here at the Homestead. There are events and gatherings held year round. From school field trips and church gatherings to weddings and our annual festival. There is something here for everyone. The highlight of each year is our annual festival held in October to mark the celebration at the end of the sorghum harvest season.
